Innovation Overview – Automated Company Formation
The project presents a novel automated system for the end-to-end creation of companies, designed to replace fragmented and manual processes with a fully integrated, digital workflow. It standardizes how registration data, AML/KYC/KYB compliance checks, ownership structures, and required legal documentation are processed together within one automated engine. This reduces redundancy and friction found in traditional, manual multi-system procedures.

The solution includes a modular automation engine that:

• Integrates registrations across authority systems, identity services, and banking infrastructure into one seamless digital pipeline.
• Uses a one-time data entry approach, so company data is entered once and securely routed to all relevant systems without repetition.
• Employs standardized APIs and interoperable data models, enabling cross-border data flow and compatibility with both Norwegian and EU/EFTA regulatory platforms.

The project also contains a Patentability Review, assessing the technical aspects of the automation concept and identifying how the approach may qualify for intellectual property protection due to its structured method of automating regulatory workflows.
